INFORMATION ON THE FLORIDA CAST & CREW ASSOCIATION (FCCA):

Thank you for your interest in the Florida Cast & Crew Association, a 501-C6 Not for Profit trade association which is dedicated to the growth and development of Florida's live and recorded entertainment industries.

Among the most valuable benefits of membership in this trade association is the opportunity to meet and network with others in your chosen field, and to increase your own professional skills through our comprehensive program of seminars, workshops and panel discussions. Members of the FCCA are a hard-working bunch, but they seldom miss an opportunity to socialize or network. I encourage you to take full advantage of all we have to offer by attending our regular meetings and participating in the various social events we have scheduled throughout the year. Like any other organization, you get out of it only what you put into it. This is not a club, but a serious minded trade association and the FCCA has been a vital part of past efforts to educate and guide the legislators of our state towards improving incentives and tax breaks which lead to more job opportunities for all of us!

If you have any comments or suggestions for improvement, please call or e-mail your appropriate Board member or Committee Chairman. Even if you do not think you have worthy ideas, your time and energy would be a welcome resource for our various Committees; get in touch with the committee that best suits your skills and experience -- or your dreams and help out in whatever way you can. Working together with other friendly volunteers is a great way to meet potential employers or valuable contacts in Florida’s entertyainemnet industry! Think of it as ''networking in depth.''

MEETINGS
(FCCA currently meets in the Central Florida-Orando area)

The 2nd Monday of each month (except December)

Time: Unless otherwise stated, networking starts at 6:30pm and the program starts at 7:30pm. We usually wrap up around 9:00pm.
Place: Meetings are held at various locations. Check your current issue of your electronic newsletter, the front page of this web site or call the FMPTA Hotline at 407-629-7268.
Cost: Members are admitted for free; guests are charged $10 and members of reciprocal organizations and students are just $5.

CLASSIFICATIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

Professional Member - Dues: *$75.00/year + $5.00 one-time administration fee Any individual directly engaged in the motion picture, television, video, commercial, internet, print, audio recording. live entertainment and digital media industries in the state of Florida, or in any business or occupation directly related thereto shall be eligible for Individual Professional membership, and is entitled to (1) one vote.

Corporate Member - Dues: *$250.00/year + $5.00 one-time administration fee Any person, company, organization or collective bargaining unit engaged in the motion picture, television, video, commercial, internet, print, audio recording. live entertainment and digital media industries in the state of Florida; or in any business or occupation directly related thereto, and who is licensed as a business or incorporated in the state of Florida, shall be eligible for Corporate Membership. Up to three (3) delegates may be appointed and each will have one (1) vote.

Institutional Member - Dues: *$100.00/year + $5.00 one-time administration fee Any Florida non-profit or not-for-profit organization, school, university, or trade association whose members/faculty desire to participate in FCCA meetings and activities. Up to three (3) non-voting delegates may be appointed

Associate Member - Dues: *$45.00/year + $5.00 one-time administration fee Any person, firm or corporation not eligible for membership in one of the above categories shall be eligible for Associate Membership. Does not vote.

Student Member - Dues: *$20.00/year + $5.00 one-time administration fee Any person enrolled or engaged in a course of study in film, television, theatrical arts, or in any of the communications fields at any accredited college, university, secondary, trade or industry related school and not employed in the industry shall be eligible for Student Membership. Does not vote.
